Meet The Team

Steve Rudin

With over 28 years of expertise in the home building industry, Steve oversees all aspects of construction at Loyd Russel Homes, from design to completion.

He began his career as a field manager and later became a Construction & Purchasing Manager for a Fortune 500 homebuilder in Houston. During his 22 year involvement with the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), Steve served as President of the Custom Builders Council and has engaged in various Houston Habitat for Humanity projects.

Steve prides himself in his unwavering dedication to exceptional customer service and meticulous attention to detail. He understands the emotional significance of building a home and strives to create a positive and memorable experience for clients with a hands-on approach.

Allison, Steve's wife, entered his life through her purchase of a Loyd Russel home. Together, they have built a loving family with two children, Sam and Evyn, along with their amazing rescue dog, Riffle.

Russel Garrison

Loyd Russel Homes began through Russel Garrison's personal experience as a home buyer. Disappointed with the lack of excitement and memorability in the process, he was inspired to establish a company that would provide these elements to future home buyers. In 2001, two years after his own underwhelming home buying journey, Russel co-founded Loyd Russel Homes (LRH) with the aim of empowering clients to have a voice in their home buying process, while offering exceptional customer service and high-quality homes.

With over 30 years of experience, Russel played a pivotal role in developing LRH into one of Houston's leading custom homebuilding firms. He believed that a hands-on approach was key to fostering strong relationships with clients, which is reflected in the numerous referrals the company has received over the years. Alongside Steve, Russel's dedication and hard work were instrumental in the company's success.

Today, Russel resides in his own custom LRH home with his partner of 27 years, Leigh. Although he officially retired in December 2022, we are fortunate that Russel continues to contribute to the company in a part-time capacity.
